Ashes Burning Liturgy @ MSJ
On Thursday morning our School Captains and Liturgy Leaders attended a liturgy at Mount St Joseph’s Girls College. This celebration was in preparation for Lent by participating in prayer and a palm leaf burning ceremony.
The students represented themselves and our school community with reverence and respect, mixing with students from MSJ, Emmanuelle College and Queen of Peace. We look forward to using the ashes created during this ceremony in our Ash Wednesday Mass next week, Wednesday 18th February at 9:15am. All are welcome to join us for this mass.
