The St Mary's Parents and Friends Committee will be holding its Annual General Meeting Wednesday May 12th at 7.30pm.
The P&F is a fantastic way to get to know the amazing families at the school, at the same time playing a huge role in raising funds that go directly back to our students. In the past the P&F have raised funds that have been able to update the literature department, contributing significantly to upgrading IT for the students by purchasing iPads, as well as sports equipment, among many other things.
We currently have an amazing group of parents on our committee, but are always looking for new members to add to our team. If you are interested in volunteering, please come and join us- as well love to meet new families.
As this will be an AGM, all of the following positions will be vacated, so if you feel you might want to fill a position, please send an expression of interest to me, Susie Holland (current President) directly or via Sonia (principal@smaltona.catholic.edu.au).

Due to COVID the P&F has been unable to run its fundraising events as normal, so we are looking to really get things back on track this year for our wonderful students. We look forward to seeing some new and old faces there!!

I was born in the old Altona Hospital, grew up in Sargood Street and St Mary’s was my Primary School. I still live in Altona.
I have a husband, Shane and two daughters. Natalie is in Year 11 and Chloe is in Year 6.
We love to travel with our caravan and have toured Australia. As a family, we also love to cruise. We have sailed to the Pacific Islands and Papua New Guinea.
You may see me at the Altona Basketball Stadium where I manage two Altona Pirates teams. Give me a wave when you do!
At St Mary’s I am a Release Teacher. When our hard-working Graduate Teachers need time with their Mentors, I step in to their grade and continue with their program. I think I have the best job in the world!
