Homework Survey

We know that the topic of Homework is a most polarising one, so whichever decisions we make around what homework looks like for our students, will not please all stakeholders.

Have your say here before the end of the year.

Carols on the Oval

Thursday 5th December - Gates will open at 5.30pm

Our Carols On The Oval is tonight!!

Break out those picnic blankets and get those cameras ready. All the students have been rehearsing with their class teachers and their wonderful voices are beginning to fill the air around the school.

A few important notes;

  • The school gates will open at 5.30pm for families to come and have their picnic dinner
  • The performances will begin at approximately 6.30pm
  • Students will arrive in their costumes.  Teachers should have informed you by now as to what they will need to wear.

Looking forward to seeing you all at this wonderful, joyous event,

Angela Hamilton

Advent Season 2024

This Sunday 1st December marks the beginning of Advent - a Season to prepare for Christmas - a remembrance of the birth of Christ and the beginning of the new Liturgical Year.
We celebrate Advent as the beginning of a new year, new opportunities, new beginnings in the light of Christ. IDEAS
The following video is a good explanation of the possibilities, ideas and themes around which we can prepare, during the season of Advent to 'start over', 'begin again', in an attempt to allow the Holy Spirit to live through us and our lives, to be the best version of ourselves in the coming year.
What is Advent? - Youtube video

A Great way to begin your Advent preparation would be to set up an Advent wreath as part of your Christmas decorations. This is a round wreath, usually made or decorated with plant/leaves (real or artificial) with four candles around the wreath - 3 Purple and 1 Rose.
