Day of Action against Bullying & Violence

Thanks to Isabelle & Amelia for organising the day.

Classes gave great tips about what to do if bullying happens and our staff and students competed in a quiz about bullying. Congratulations to the students who won the quiz!

It's not a one day thing though...our Junior School Council began discussions yesterday about how we can keep all students at St. Mary's safe. This will be work that will be ongoing throughout the year, as we form our JSC Child Safety Project Team. Their work will be informed by discussions with classes led by their JSC representatives.

Please show you support of the National Day of Action against Bullying & Violence by wearing a splash of ORANGE on Friday.
Talk with your children about their work in class, about respecting others, getting along and strategies to use if they are feeling unsafe in any situation.

Please speak to a staff member if you have concerns about your child's mental health and wellbeing.
