This week has been a whirlwind of discovery and excitement as our students delved into their respective inquiry units with excitement and curiosity. From the youngest learners to the seasoned seniors, each grade level has embarked on a unique journey of exploration and learning.

We're excited to announce the 25th Annual National Walk Safely to School Day, a special event where primary school children nationwide are encouraged to walk and commute safely to school.
We are delighted to extend a warm invitation to all Mother's, Grandmother's and significant women in our students' lives to join us for a special Mother's Day event at St Mary's Primary School on May 10th. It promises to be a memorable morning filled with love, appreciation, and cherished moments.
On Tuesday evening, Daniel Vella, our expert facilitator from Real Schools, hosted a parent session during which he explained our school parntership with Real Schools and also gave valuable insights and strategies aimed at enhancing our students learning journey.
On Thursday 25th April our School Captains and Social Justice leaders will present a wreath on behalf of the school community at the Dawn Service held at the cenotaph at the council offices in Civic Pde.
Dear Parents
During 2023 the Victorian Curriculum & Assessment Authority (VCAA) evaluated and rewrote the Mathematics Curriculum for Victoria. Consequently, our report templates will be adjusted to include the new curriculum indicators which students are assessed and marked against.
Our Mother's Day Mass will be held on Friday 10th May at 10am. It will be preceded by morning tea in the hall at 8:45am and classroom visits from 9:25am. Everyone is welcome.
Just a reminder that hats must be worn through until the end of April 2024.
Hats should be school legionnaire style or broad brimmed in keeping with our sun smart policy.
Please ensure that your children have the correct hat to wear.....NO HAT, NO PLAY.
