School Environment

St.Mary's is very fortunate to be situated on a large expanse of land. This has enabled the school to provide a variety of relaxation and play options for our children. The large grassed area is the size of a football field and is used for all sorts of games, or simply for a lunchtime stroll. The landscaped and shaded garden with stepped seating provides a perfect spot for catching up with friends protected from the summer sun as do the synthetic grassed areas.

The two adventure playgrounds, a gag pit, basketball and netball courts offer even more play options.

In 2011 we added a new building called the Technology, Research and Information Centre (TRI Centre). Over the year this has been repurposed in some ways and now comprises of our library, POL offices and multi learning areas, while upstairs doubles as our Preforming Arts classroom and an auditorium with projector, screen, sound system and tiered seating. It is multi-functional with retractable walls in three locations.
